AMFI registration number (ARN) registration is a mandatory process for anyone who wants to act as a mutual fund distributor in India. The Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) is the regulatory body for the mutual fund industry in India, and ARN registration is one of the ways that AMFI ensures that mutual fund distributors are qualified and competent.

AMFI has reduced ARN registration and renewal fees by 50% effective May 1, 2021. With this, the new ARN registration and renewal fee for individual distributors have been reduced to Rs. 1500 and Rs. 750 excluding GST.
